Harriette Story Lawrence Foster papers, 1881-1911.

Papers of Harriette Story Lawrence Foster, primarily correspondence, including letters from her brother John Lawrence on a trip to New Orleans to see the World's Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exposition (Mar. 1885), from her father Abbott Lawrence to Harriette at Wellesley (1885), and from Anna Sears Amory about the death of Dr. Richard Sprague and other subjects (1892-1893). The collection also contains letters of congratulations on her engagement and marriage to Reginald Foster from Foster family members, Lawrence family members, and others (1892-1893); letters of sympathy on the death of her father (July 1893); and letters from Reginald Foster during a trip to Europe, including a stop at the baths of Aix-les-Bains in France to "take the cure" (1911). Other papers include school compositions, clippings, and calling cards.
